Interested in trying table-top role-play for the first time? Or are you a grizzled veteran of many dungeon encounters? The Carnegie Library welcomes interested parties of all experience levels to try out Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition! This five-week program will run every Thursday from July 17 – August 14, and include character creation and adventuring in a fantasy world where dragons are real and danger lurks around every corner. All books and materials will be provided. Participants should range in age from 12 to 18 years, and good humor, sportsmanship, and fellowship will be encouraged. Sessions will begin at 1:00 PM and run until 5:00 PM. The first session on July 17 will feature character creation and a sample combat (time permitting), and the next four sessions will involve actual adventuring.
Note: This program will use the new 4th edition of the D&D rules from Wizards of the Coast. This includes the new Players’ Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, and Monster Manual. No other material will be needed.

OK, this has nothing to do with the post, but, does anyone know when the anime club forum is going to be set up? I'm eagerly awaiting it.
Here's hoping for a good campaign! I've only done internet campaigns in the past, considering that there has only been one or two people in my general area willing to play, so this should be much better.
Hey, I missed the first session due to a road trip. Can I still sign up?
And, Ryan... I'm in a sort of dungeon-crawl type campaign right now. We're in Squirrel Hill.
Hi Ryan. Unfortunately registration is closed. Check out the library events calendar next summer for our next D&D tournament!
